La Toque Blanche sur Les Mesnuls

A very pleasant surprise! The service was perfect and the food was excellent! Many thanks to the restaurant team.

We wanted to give our 16-year-old a six-course dinner experience, so we chose La Toque Blanche. It ended up being a five-course meal, but that was more than enough. We were expecting very small portions, but instead, we received "normal" portions (three appetizers, a main course, and a dessert), not counting the amuse-bouche. As a result, some of us weren't very hungry after the three appetizers. The dishes are very refined, and the sauces are excellent with a beautiful presentation. I didn't like the way the sea bass was cooked; I prefer it well-grilled, and it was rather pink. The beef fillets were very tender. Wine is available by the glass, with a machine that brings the wine to the perfect temperature. It's a shame the glass is only 10cl. The staff is very friendly and down-to-earth, with no fuss about the service. The atmosphere is cozy and calm. The terrace is worth trying at lunchtime.

A perfect experience, as always when we come here. A real treat! The only slight downside was that our umbrella was unfortunately taken by mistake by another customer. If that person notices this while reading this review, we would be delighted to get it back 😊

The welcome was friendly and the service relatively quick. The à la carte menu offers three to four starters, main courses, and desserts. An aperitif accompanied by generous amuse-bouches is also available. The dishes were attractively presented, tasty, and generously portioned, but without any real surprises in terms of flavor. I would have appreciated a touch of originality: an unexpected flavor, an herb, or a sauce that made a real difference. The waiter's casual attire and numerous bracelets contrasted with the bourgeois and opulent atmosphere of the inn. The bill was too high, especially because of the aperitifs and desserts. Fortunately, we still had a very pleasant lunch.

Always an excellent experience for refined cuisine. Kudos to the chef for putting all his passion into your plate for years. A big thank you for his consistency and enthusiasm. This is a place I highly recommend for food lovers. As an added bonus, the service is welcoming, attentive, and respectful of each customer's requests.
