I've made it a habit, when leaving Bordeaux to return home near Nîmes, to stop at this shop to buy some canelés and sometimes other canelé-based specialties they make. The shop is conveniently located near the ring road, very practical for a quick detour. What's more, the staff are very welcoming and the canelés are delicious.

It's become the Bordeaux institution for canelés now, the value for money is unbeatable, and if you also try the Gascony tourtière, hmmm, you'll be back regularly 🤪

La Petite Cuisine De Marguerite

31/08/2026: Always a treat, I eat there regularly, it's so delicious and fresh! It feels so good to eat well-prepared home-cooked food! For our wedding, we ordered from Marguerite (I should mention that my husband is Lebanese) and everyone was unanimous, even the Lebanese guests: "It's excellent!" Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Stephanie
29/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to order from Marguerite's Little Kitchen. We're never disappointed! I highly recommend it.

Little Tokyo

24/09/2026: Authentic, flavorful cuisine. People come here for perfectly executed traditional dishes, or to be surprised by a creative and colorful plate. The portions are generous and elegant. Pleasant, varied atmosphere. Warm, attentive service. Affordable prices. Highly recommended.
18/09/2026: Still as good as ever after four years of going to this restaurant. Fresh ingredients, excellent dishes, and a friendly staff. I highly recommend it. 😉
