The food was excellent particularly the starter of oysters , prawns and escargot . The moules were great too . It is not expensive and a great menu.Definitely worth a visit if staying in/ near the town as there are limited restaurants. Only negative service was slow as only one waitress but worth the wait .

Excellent value for money for an evening stopover Family atmosphere Great service with Léa's smile and thoughtfulness, not to mention Bruno the boss. The rooms, although not very large, are comfortable and clean. The mattress was new.

We booked because of availability and proximity to Mont Saint Michel. Our booked said from 2.30pm. The sign on the door said 5pm. We phoned and were given the code to the door and told which bedroom key to take. The corridors and stairs are dark and worn. The bedroom was tired and worn and the bathroom was yellow with age on the white plastic. The bathroom had clear glass that looked out onto other houses. However, there were shutters on the windows, the sheets on the beds were white and clean. The towels were white and fluffy and the water hot

Restaurant Auberge de la baie

17/09/2024: Great little hotel close to Mt. Saint Michel. We stayed for one night and walked to the Mont in the morning. Staff was very friendly and recommended us a route and when we had to leave to see the tide roll in. We opted for the 9€ breakfast and it was definitely worth that price. Great croissants and fresh bread. There is a public footpath across a sheep pasture which will take you right up the bridge. We needed about an hour to walk from the hotel to Mt St Michel. There are some stunning views along the way so I would recommend taking this route. Overall, this is the perfect location to stay if you want to visit Mont Saint Michel.
11/09/2024: Excellent location, and ample parking. Unfortunately, the rooms are aging and deserve to be refreshed. Breakfast has very little variety. The price is a little too high for the quality of the establishment.
