The food was excellent. I went because I'd heard they used local produce, and indeed, the origin of the ingredients was displayed in the dining area. They seated us inside at our request, even though they were serving outside. That was incredibly accommodating of them. Thank you so much.

Everything was delicious! From the appetizer to the dessert. Completely homemade, guaranteed. Excellent flavor combinations, cooking, presentation—nothing to criticize. The garden/terrace is just perfect when it's warm like today. A gentle babble of water flows from a fountain. The decor and ambiance are almost timeless, and it's magnificent.

Today, Sunday, I went for lunch at La Vieille Auberge in Seine-et-Marne, after wanting to try this restaurant for several months. I had made a reservation and, frankly, I absolutely don't regret the trip! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism. The staff is pleasant, smiling, and very attentive. As for the food, everything was excellent: fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, and perfectly prepared by a highly talented chef. And what a lovely surprise to discover this magnificent shaded terrace! In this intense heat, having lunch under the trees made the experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, this restaurant easily deserves a 20/20. I am delighted with this discovery and will return with great pleasure, especially with friends. It's becoming rare these days to find restaurants offering authentic cuisine, made with real ingredients and so much passion. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation!

A very beautiful place with old-fashioned decor, and very good quality food and service.

We had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm and friendly. The setting was lovely. And as for the meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it; it was our second visit and it was just as delicious as ever, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. We will gladly return.

The atmosphere is that of a traditional inn (wooden fireplace, old terracotta tiles) mixed with original "Modern Art" paintings. The servers are excellent and the service is quite fast. The dishes are very high quality, both in flavor and quantity. The "Thor's Hammer" was excellent and could easily serve three people. We had a great time... A very good restaurant.

Discovered in October 2024, I was completely charmed by this restaurant, both by the decor and the cuisine. A group of six dined there, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the dessert, including the wine. Bravo and thank you for this delicious meal; I will gladly return.

The waiter and waitress were very pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent, with generous portions, beautifully presented dishes, and high-quality ingredients. The service was quick and efficient. The decor was lovely, reminiscent of an old inn. This was my first visit to the restaurant, but certainly not my last. I will recommend it to my colleagues.

This is the second time I've chosen Thor's Hammer, and I thoroughly enjoyed it once again. As usual, we appreciated the setting, the service, and of course, the meal.
