L'abri Cotier sur Lion-Sur-Mer

A surprising experience: when I called to make a reservation, I was told it wasn't possible, but when I arrived, almost everything was already booked. The mussels and fries were very good but very small. I usually eat small portions, but I was still hungry when I left the restaurant. The managers were friendly, and the sea view was nice.

First trip to Normandy: our first fabulous mussels and fries at L'Abri Côtier, a delicious homemade recipe... An absolutely perfect first holiday meal! One regret: not having managed to go back before our return home...

Excellent food, fresh mussels of a good size and perfectly cooked! Very pleasant and courteous service! Lovely setting right by the sea, along the promenade! Adjacent parking! Sailing club (summer bungalows) just opposite the restaurant terrace! I highly recommend it – a great time for adults and children alike! Unique, simple (a few dishes on the menu, just the right amount) and welcoming!

We had a wonderful time. Located right on the beach, the atmosphere and setting are superb. We enjoyed the excellent food. A very good place to eat. Our four-legged friends are welcome. We will definitely be back! 👍

Lunch for four, we shared delicious fried mussels (Label Rouge), the secret ingredient of which remains a mystery… our table was sheltered, facing the sea, and very peaceful. We will gladly return!

During a bike ride along the Digur, we stopped for a drink at this little beach bar. The welcome was warm and friendly, giving the impression of a family-run restaurant. The high-top seating could be more comfortable, though. We didn't stay for a meal, but we were surprised by the "reserved" signs on the outside tables, as there weren't many people there. We saw a couple who came in, made a reservation, and left. It's a shame for the owners to have lost a couple who were probably looking to eat... There's a sea view and parking nearby. The menu looked nice and concise, which I think means it's all homemade. 😉 Don't hesitate to stop by.

We had a superb waiter with a great sense of humor, and our mussels and fries were perfect.
