A truly wonderful discovery! Everything is well thought out and intelligent. The €25 set menu is well worth it; the portions are perfect—neither too much nor too little—the flavors are bold, the seasonings sophisticated, and the chef's skill is evident throughout. The service is very pleasant, with two efficient yet charming women at the helm. This restaurant is often fully booked, and it's easy to see why. Bravo, excellent work!

Book a week in advance to secure a table at this restaurant, which is always packed at lunchtime! The set menu is excellent value for money at €25. The à la carte menu is also superb. The service is quick and friendly. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Overall, I was quite disappointed compared to my expectations. The food was well-executed but lacked originality. The back room was very noisy, and the service was really lacking in smiles and attentiveness. I think Zest needs to reinvent itself to compete with the wave of high-end bistronomy sweeping through Rennes.

A place to try without hesitation. In a clean and zen-like setting, we enjoyed dishes that were all better than the last, served by a lovely young woman. The delicate combination of flavors is matched only by the quality of the ingredients. A big thumbs up!
