Lao Chaleune sur Paris

Lao Chaleune is a little hidden gem. I have always loved Lao food but it is difficult to find outside the big cities. The restaurant is small, clean and understated and the staff are friendly, welcoming and polite. The food is fresh, served hot and delicious. I had the prawn nems which were amazing but the 'plateau lao' was exceptionally tasty and very good value. The mango juice was so refreshing also. I recommend the Lao Chaleune very highly and I cannot wait to return there.

It has become my weekly canteen. I came to eat during my work in the neighborhood and to my surprise this restaurant is really excellent and authentic. I came back with my little family who approved their dishes. The Lao discovery platter and its banh canh soup is great! I advise you to test it to approve it in your turn.

Really good food, not very expensive. Lacks a bit of space inside but I was not disappointed and I recommend !

I have been eating at this restaurant for several years before going to work. The welcome and service is always friendly and family-friendly. Something new: The restaurant has been renovated and the decor is modern and trendy. In addition, there are sockets for recharging your smartphone! I regularly have steamed chicken rice with ginger sauce accompanied by delicious chicken skewers with a sweet sauce. Sometimes, I vary it by taking homemade Chicken Noodles which are exquisite. After several years having lunched and dined in several restaurants in the 13th, I confirm that it is the best restaurant in terms of quality in the 13th. It deserves to be better known for its excellent cuisine and above all its excellent value for money.

Excellent traditional cuisine! I recommend, we had the specialties (Nem Thadeua, three treasure noodles and mango sticky rice) and we were not disappointed, we will come back!
