Lao Douang Dy sur Paris

A very good restaurant, a little hidden away in the gallery.

For sure the most hidden restaurant in Chinatown, and probably the best, this unpretentious Laothian place serves excellent homemade plates of noodles, preferably as soup. Springrolls and other starters are freshly made. You would like to continue tasting them all. But then, there is always a good reason to return. Having found this place ten or so years ago in a run down shopping mall, always very glad it is still there. Very comforting that is.

The braised goose rice and the Eight Treasures Tofu Casserole were really delicious; they tasted like authentic Cantonese cuisine.

The place doesn't look like much (at the end of the Olympiades shopping mall) but the food and service were excellent.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ I ordered from Lao Douang Dy via delivery: an assortment of dried beef, Lao sausages, and a nem thadeua (crispy rice salad with fermented pork). The dishes were delicious and true to Lao flavors—I highly recommend it! The portions were very generous, perfect for sharing or treating yourself. A great find, I highly recommend it!

Excellent and affordable I loved the pepper beef and the soups are perfect. Well located in a quiet spot at the back of the shopping arcade, this restaurant is worth a visit. Perfect for lunch.

Excellent Laotian cuisine, lots of delicious dishes! Don't be fooled by the restaurant's unassuming exterior; they serve amazing food, and everything is homemade!

The loc lac was so good that we recommended another one to share.
