Lao Siam sur Paris

A very pleasant surprise. The dishes were truly delicious: first, the grilled rice salad. Having never tried this dish before, I was hesitant, but I was pleasantly surprised by a simple dish of perfectly crispy rice with pork and a little garnish, all seasoned beautifully. The spring rolls had a wonderful filling flavor and didn't taste overcooked at all—simple yet very well executed. For the main courses, we ordered the "crying tiger" beef and the marinated pork loin. Both dishes were delicious; the meats were cooked perfectly, but above all, the sauces were unique. Each had its own distinct character and enhanced the dish in a different way. However, the portions were small, and the side dishes, which were tiny, had to be ordered separately. For dessert, the sticky rice with mango was really good. In short, I highly recommend this superb restaurant at a reasonable price (around thirty euros per person) to those who don't have a huge appetite but want to travel through their food. The restaurant is popular and therefore very busy (and therefore noisy), it is recommended to book in advance.

Superb quick dinner for one. The Lap Kaï minced chicken salad was fragrant and tasty, and the crying tiger had great quality meat for the price. The side of fried noodles was overpriced. Would go back 100%.

Excellent restaurant! The Laotian and Thai specialties are rarely prepared this well in other restaurants in Paris. The staff is very welcoming, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect! Keep up the good work, Lao Siam!

One of the best restaurants in Paris in terms of food; it's delicious. Everything is very, very good. However, it's very noisy (the sound echoes) and only some of the staff are friendly. But it's still a "must go".

We had a good time, but the food is a bit overrated, especially if you appreciate authentic Asian flavors.

the thai iced tea and mango sticky rice were phenomenal rest of the food was solid but not mind blowing , i got the crispy pork rolls, half cooked shrimp and spicy beef

This place did not disappoint! Great atmosphere despite the crowds, the servers were very efficient and friendly. And the food was amazing! Thank you again for this wonderful time!

The tom kha soup was delicious, but I was expecting a slightly larger portion and more flavorful toppings. On the other hand, the mango sticky rice was amazing; I highly recommend it! The service is fast and friendly.
