L’Arbre à Pain sur Saint-Etienne-De-Boulogne

This is the kind of small, typical restaurant that's well worth the detour! A terrace on the village square offers a very pleasant, local atmosphere! The daily special is excellent, and everything is homemade, even the bread! And all at a more than reasonable price! Tried and tested!

Beautiful moment in a bucolic place

A wonderful discovery in this friendly little village! Here you'll enjoy delicious, locally sourced produce, beautifully cooked, and at reasonable prices. Don't hesitate to buy some bread; it's delicious!

The special creative burger meal is very good (very tender, supple and fresh burger bun, meat cooked to perfection (tender and well cooked), tasty sauce), and the fries look homemade and are very good. The service is quality and very attentive to the customer. And part of the terrace on the square, between the town hall and the church, offers a pleasant environment for eating in the summer.

The village meeting place, with bar, grocery store, restaurant. The welcome is friendly. Two choices on the menu, but it doesn't matter, since EVERYTHING is homemade: whether it's the terrine, the fries, the whipped cream, and even the bread!! A know-how that is felt in the plate. The roast pork accompanied by its tartar sauce (of course homemade) was just incredible, it was so melting! So an address off the tourist trail, but where it is good that the values of gastronomy and "well done" are the heart of the owner's concerns.

It's worth the detour from the main road, a few kilometers to reach the Restaurant L'arbre à Pain, an authentic square, a warm welcome, and magnificent cuisine. A wonderful surprise for our first day of vacation in Ardèche. Thank you for this moment. Cédric, Ghislaine, and their dog Jupiter
