A little gem. As someone who loves tagines, I wasn't disappointed (kefta/eggs), with a side of vegetables. Yum! My husband, who isn't usually a fan of this type of dish, practically drooled over my plate and promised to order it on our next visit. The welcome, service, and cleanliness were all top-notch. I recommend it 100%!

A Moroccan gem in the heart of Trèbes – L’Arganier. Discovering L’Arganier has been a true delight for the senses. This Moroccan restaurant not only offers exquisite cuisine but also a warm, welcoming, and authentic experience that transports you directly to the flavors and aromas of the Maghreb. We tried two of their specialties: the lamb tagine with prunes and apricots and the chicken tagine, and both were simply memorable. The lamb was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth just by looking at it, infused with a perfect balance of sweetness from the dried fruits and traditional spices. Each bite was a delicious contrast: the honeyedness of the meat, the fruitiness of the apricots, and the spicy undertone of the cooking juices. A dish that speaks volumes about Morocco's culinary richness. The chicken tagine, meanwhile, was equally flavorful: juicy, aromatic, with that characteristic citrus note that elevates each ingredient. The presentation in a traditional tagine, still bubbling, makes the moment of opening the lid an experience in itself. To accompany it, we ordered a few portions of semolina. Final recommendation: don't leave without trying their gourmand Moroccan mint tea, served in the traditional style and accompanied by typical pastries. It's the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable meal.
