05/07/2024: Quelle cuisine, une qualité exceptionnelle, c'est le meilleur 2 étoiles que j'ai fait , il dépasse à mon avis les 2 étoiles que j'ai testé Le service, les serveurs , l'accueil sont tops, on ressent de l'humain tout au long du repas C'est un souvenir inoubliable et j'y retournerai Ah j'oubliais : le chef un humaniste et d'une gentillesse'.

09/07/2024: Superbe accueil. Les plats sont visuellement très beaux et excellents dignes d'un étoilé, les produits sont frais et cuisinés devant vous (cuisine ouverte sur la salle). Bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vraiment. Nous avons passé un excellent moment.

03/07/2024: An unassuming entrance takes you down stairs to a cellar restaurant. Resist the temptation to run away at the slightly 70s decor. Your perseverance will be amply rewarded. Sit down and enjoy. I loved that the chef personally comes to your table to take your order. Others sort the drinks and do the deliveries to the table. But the chef wants to understand exactly your preferences. We had mussels with razor clams; the fish soup (don’t miss out on this) and then to follow: monkfish wrapped in prosciutto and sole. All cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. The house wine is worth a try and they have a pretty good cellar of bottled choices.

29/06/2024: This is our third time in Carcassonne and our fourth time at Restaurant Gil. I think it is the best Plateau de fruits de mer on the Canal du Midi. We had a great meal as usual. As we stayed in port the following day because heavy rain was forecast we went back for fish and chips at lunch time as well. At €16 this was very good.

21/07/2024: très bien je ne suis pas d'accord sur l'avis de patronne un abord froid c'est vrai mais peut de temps après super aimable faut dire qui il y a des drôles de gens désagréable je reviendrai m pireaux Cuxac-d'Aude

14/07/2024: Truly outstanding venue, with a wonderfully warm welcome in a spectacular location. La Bergerie historically was a Sheep Shed, but it’s come a long way since then. We stayed with adult children after a trip to a Carcassone. With a commanding position sitting atop a small valley, it has been restored to a very high level with the dining room on the first floor and a wrap around terrace. Rooms appear to all be on the ground floor with their own private garden/ terrace. Both levels enjoy the same stunning views. The owners were especially hospitable and the food was of a very high standard. Best Octopus I’ve ever tasted! We travelled with our dogs and it was perfect for them too. I very special place and well worth a visit

12/07/2024: Très belle découverte ! Magnifique cadre, la cuisine est raffinée, les assiettes magnifiques, les produits frais, rapport qualité prix au top ! Le personnel est chaleureux, bienveillant et jovial. Ils sont au petit soin. Les conseils accord mets et vins sont vraiment parfait ! Je recommande vivement et j’ai déjà hâte de revenir !

14/07/2024: Tout était parfait. Un service et des plats exceptionnels. Bravo à toute l'équipe. C'était un plaisir de faire s'ouvrir nos enfants a cette qualité de cuisine. Allez y les yeux fermés, l'addition est très en dessous de la qualité proposée. Encore bravo.

10/07/2024: They organized my 30th birthday meal in this restaurant. Everything was truly perfect for this special day; the food, the service, the wine and above all the view of the city walls! The person who chose this place had the most beautiful idea to mark the occasion to celebrate the first 30 years of a life 😍. Highly recommend if you are looking to have lunch or have a family event!

07/07/2024: A unique place in its genre! But above all welcoming people! We came from Belgium as a family (1 couple and 2 children). The meal was excellent ! But especially the desserts... I'm at a loss for words, it was so exquisite! It deserves 1 star for the pastry chef! The coffee is excellent because it is prepared with care by a roaster right next door... truly an incredible place!

19/07/2024: A very welcoming team, an impressive variety of cakes. Even as an alpha male, I loved the experience. (mini hiccup for the coffee which I personally didn’t like, but the rest is excellent!)

16/07/2024: The place is crazy decorated and the atmosphere is incredible. Eating cakes in the middle of this tea room worthy of a fairy tale or Victorian fantasy makes the experience even more fun and delicious. The desserts are attractive and tasty. We had a pleasant time.
