L'Armoric sur Auray

The food was quite good for such a popular tourist spot. However, as is often the case, the awning needs to be replaced as it can't withstand even the slightest breeze. Customers can't be left in the blazing sun at lunchtime during service!

A surreal experience at L'Armoric. While we were still comfortably seated at our table, finishing our dinner, we were firmly refused access to the restaurant's restrooms. The reason? The restaurant had just been cleaned. Priorities, you know! As a solution, the waitress "kindly" directed me to the men's restroom by the bar. The bar was, of course, packed on a French national team match night, already teeming with an army of women sent there for their "refreshment break." A truly awkward and logistical experience. The icing on the cake (or rather, the final nail in the coffin): seeing my astonishment, the waitress felt compelled to put things in perspective by pointing out that she finished at 2 a.m., and that I therefore had no right to complain. Dear Madam, I certainly don't mean to underestimate the difficulty of your job, but if cleaning the toilets excuses you from letting customers use them, perhaps you should consider changing your schedule... or even your career path. We pay for a full service, not to adapt our bladders to your end-of-service schedule! A word to the wise. P.S.: This doesn't detract from the friendliness of the very smiling staff (all the others) and the quality of the food.

Nice restaurant, friendly and pleasant staff, very kind and efficient waitress, we ate well. Fish and chips were good. Mussels and fries 🍟 good portion, a little filling.

A lovely establishment located in the port of Saint Goustan. Friendly welcome and quick service. A charming place. You can have a meal or simply enjoy a drink on the terrace. Parking is available nearby, and the restaurant is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Beautiful walks are possible in the surrounding area.

It's hard to be disappointed. During our visit to the Gulf of Morbihan, we particularly enjoyed L'Armoric. The location, the friendly staff, the food—everything was very pleasant. And the icing on the cake for beer lovers: the management has clearly chosen to offer non-industrial beers (except for the Grimbergen Blonde, which could perhaps be replaced by a Lancelot or a Coreff?). Friendly welcome, decent food. The best part is the restaurant's location and view.

Pleasant place, good service, great location, mediocre food. I'd suggest sticking to the basics, moules or burger, rather than fancier dishes. My asparagus was boiled soggy and presented in a mystery cream, and my fish was overcooked and tasteless.

Today, a rather unfriendly waitress who curtly placed all the cutlery and paper napkins on the menu! Figure it out yourself! And without even a "bon appétit" or a smile! It's a bit abrupt, and sometimes you feel like your requests aren't welcome. What a shame! Yesterday, a very friendly and smiling young man who also gave good advice. The bar staff was also very kind. Isn't a warm welcome and good service important?
