L'As de Coeur sur Roaix

I've been coming to the Vaucluse region on holiday with my wife for the past four years. I knew the restaurant and the owners before, thanks to my grandparents. Even though there's a bit of a wait for a large table, I give this restaurant 5 stars! Because the quality-price ratio is unbeatable! Even if there are some issues for some people, if you're not satisfied, go somewhere else. It would also require some goodwill from everyone and not having to call two hours in advance for a large table. Try that at another restaurant and you'll get the same treatment! The human body can withstand a lot of heat and stress, but the people at this restaurant work two shifts (lunch/dinner) every day, five and a half days a week. They're not supermen either. I'd like to see you try it out in their shoes and see if you could manage that many shifts and that many years, or if you'd close down after two years because it's too hard… It's easy to criticize, but try it yourself! If you come to a restaurant, it's partly because you don't want to eat a sandwich or a simple meal at home…! Or go to McDonald's…. So I say THANK YOU to these people for cooking us quality food with fresh ingredients, not processed stuff.

A lovely spot for a short lunch break or even an evening break in a friendly atmosphere.

We had a delicious lunch here. We hadn't reserved a table, but fortunately we were able to get a seat. Next time I will reserve just to be safe, because it filled up quickly. We had a delicious meal, choosing from the menu of the day. The service was very friendly and fast; for us, it is a place to remember and we will certainly return to it.

Passing through this village at lunchtime, we spotted this little restaurant and stopped in, managing to eat without a reservation! No regrets, as the menu was homemade and offered great value for money!! We discovered a lovely local wine from the Roaix winery 👍 so a good excuse to stop and enjoy a tasting 😋

We stumbled upon this restaurant during a leisurely drive. It was a pleasant surprise thanks to the quality of the food and the efficient, friendly service. Eating well at a very competitive price in a welcoming atmosphere is clearly the guiding principle of this aptly named restaurant!
