The food was excellent. I had the Japanese sole which came with the most delicious buttery potato base and coconut foam. I would return to eat this alone! A real find!

We were a walk in on a not too busy night. The food was superb and supported by a good cocktail list. It wasn't the usual moules mariniere usually found in these parts and that was a welcome change. The host mad hostess were fantastic, very welcoming, always smiling and a good understanding of English. With our limited French and their English we were able to explain my nut allergy. Also, the background music was awesome (for a 60+ English man who likes rock music. We will definitely come back next time we are passing through.

We arrived a bit unexpectedly and we certainly weren't disappointed! It was a fantastic evening; everything was delicious, well-prepared, original, and made with fresh ingredients—in short, it was perfect. All the kind of food we love! The icing on the cake: a restaurant run by two lovely, dedicated women who truly listen to their customers… we highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!

A perfect getaway at L'Atelier! The atmosphere is calm and friendly, but above all, the food is excellent for a modest price considering the quality (€34 for a starter, main course, and dessert). Everything is delicious, generous, and expertly prepared.
A must-try if you're passing through (or live in) Port Louis!
