L'Auberge D'Augy sur Augy

I must admit I'm quite surprised given the many very positive reviews. I came in with high hopes… but I really didn't enjoy it. And yet, I'm not someone who eats without salt: I usually season my food myself and I'm happy to add salt. This was just too much. The accras were extremely salty, the "perfect egg" was more like a hard-boiled egg, and the broth served with the lamb shank was practically undrinkable because of the salt. The seven-hour beef was tender, but lacked sauce and was also too salty. The desserts were decent, even good, but nothing memorable. On the other hand, I have no complaints about the service: the woman who looked after us was very kind and attentive, which made the experience pleasant despite everything. In the end, I don't understand the difference with the comments I had read: for me, the food remains just average, mainly because of really excessive seasoning.

We went there on the recommendation of a family friend, and we should thank her for the recommendation. The service was very pleasant and quick, and the quality of the food speaks for itself, at least as far as the dishes I tried are concerned. (The menu changes every 3-4 months.) I highly recommend it.

Another wonderful experience at Auberge d’Augy. We were warmly welcomed by Marie, which immediately put us at ease. The atmosphere is inviting. The food is delicious, with high-quality ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes. You can feel the attention to detail and the desire to please, both in the food and the service. The pace is pleasant, the service attentive, and you truly have time to savor the moment. It's not just a good meal; it's a place where you feel comfortable. An address to remember and readily recommend. Thank you to Marie and Jany for their hospitality and expertise.

We had a wonderful time at the Auberge d’Augy celebrating a family birthday (4 adults and 2 children). Everything was perfect, from the very warm welcome to the attentive service. A big thank you for their consideration regarding my allergies; they were very attentive and reassuring. The food was flawless! Special mention for the calf's head, which was truly excellent. A place to recommend without hesitation!
