L’Auberge De La Calanque sur Ensues-La-Redonne

Contrary to the other reviews, we received excellent service! The owner was jovial and offered to make us drinks to go since he was closing the bar, which allowed us to enjoy our cocktails on the harbor! This exceptional service, it seems, was perhaps due to the owner being a bit tipsy. He poured half the drink next to the glass and ice cubes everywhere, but he measured the alcohol well! I did notice the waiter's "watch out, Parisians!" when new customers arrived who weren't "from around here." Surely his way of welcoming tourists! Quite ironic, considering the prices, which are worthy of the finest Parisian bistros! In short, the owner seemed drunk, the prices were exorbitant, and the whole team seemed to hate the tourists who, ironically, are their bread and butter.

The Spritz was expensive (€9), but the owner was super friendly and welcoming (maybe because he was drunk). At least the cocktails were strong.

I didn't enjoy it. Even though it's right across from the port, the quality isn't there.

The owner came to present the menu; the dishes were simple and good. Friendly service. Their rating is undeserved.

At Auberge des Calanques, we received a warm welcome. The panisses are a must for an aperitif, the fish is good, the meat is good, but the pizzas—the pizzas are something else entirely. These pizzas are excellent, the dough just the way we like it, the toppings a delight. Simply the best. Thank you to the chef.

We only had drinks on the terrace. In the 2 hours we sat there, I didn't see the staff smile at anyone. Very unfriendly service.
