L'auberge de la Foret sur Poigny-La-Foret

An inn that's truly worth the detour! We were there for the weekend, had traveled from afar, and unfortunately hadn't made a reservation. Despite this, the manager welcomed us with great kindness and warmth. A gesture that deserves to be highlighted! The food is excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere simply wonderful: warm, authentic, and full of charm. It's the kind of inn we love, old-fashioned, where you feel at home from the moment you arrive, and which, sadly, is becoming increasingly rare these days. If we have the opportunity to return to the region, there's no doubt that this inn will be among our top choices. A truly wonderful discovery, both for the quality of the food and for the warm welcome and the authentic atmosphere. A huge thank you to the manager and his entire team for their hospitality and kindness. You helped make our weekend a perfect ending, leaving us with excellent memories. An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will gladly return!

We had a wonderful meal on the terrace in October. The owners are incredibly friendly, and so is the waitress. Please don't change a thing.

Warm welcome and excellent cuisine, go for it!

Great, very good and a very warm welcome 🤩🤩🤩

We stopped by on a whim after an appointment in Hermeray and wanted to have lunch. It was 3 pm! The owners had stopped serving but offered us a single dish. They were very kind, and the portion was really generous and delicious. A big thank you, and it's a really lovely place that I highly recommend.

Superb, warm, and friendly welcome. Simple but excellent cuisine. Beautiful outdoor space.

Great find! We had a fantastic time! Top-notch service! The spare ribs were amazing! Thank you, don't change a thing!
