L'Auberge des Chevaliers sur Mulhouse

We spent a wonderful early June evening sitting outside in the plein air seating area of Auberge des Chevaliers, enjoying a meal of choucroute garnie with locally brewed (in Strasbourg) beer. The evening couldn't have been nicer, sunny and cool as the sun began to go down. Service was wonderful. The waiter was nonplussed by our request to split two plates of choucroute garnie between four of us, and when the plates arrived, we were glad we'd made that decision. Servings were enormous, with each plate piled high with roasted pigs' knuckles, two kinds of sausages, and slices of roast pork that our German friends know as Kassler Rippchen. In addition, there was a mound of sauerkraut, and with it, several boiled potatoes. The only discordant note was the cumin flavoring in the sauerkraut, which is far from traditional but increasingly popular in sauerkraut-loving areas of Europe.

Asparagus dish well served with 3 quality hams and mousseline. Friendly service and good atmosphere

To flee! Endless waiting to end up eating a salad that is frankly horrible and expensive for what it is! And let's talk about the syrup in the water I think they just have to add a drop of coloring to give color to the water!.
