A truly wonderful restaurant in Varengeville-sur-Mer, perfectly capturing the spirit of this village that inspired Braque and Monet.
We loved the previous incarnation. The new team is continuing brilliantly.
Warm, friendly, and very efficient.
We had dinner on a Saturday evening at a perfect pace, without waiting but without any pressure, at a table of 17 in a neighboring room. Well done to the team, we were completely taken care of: Clément, Léa's smiles and kind humor, Mado, David's helpfulness as he left his stove to serve in the dining room while Louis continued to work his magic in the kitchen. It's fantastic. You've truly understood the importance of paying attention to your guests.
It's an elegant brasserie, with refined cuisine and classic, seasonal, and local dishes, revisited with talent and originality. A truly beautiful wine list, showcasing a wide range of wines from our major regions, including excellent classics like Chablis, St. Joseph, and Chinon. To whet the appetite, we paired the pan-seared foie gras with its pear chutney and roasted apples with a Vacqueyras, whose distinctive character provided a delightful contrast. The French toast with salted caramel was simply divine, and the thick, smooth, and flavorful chocolate mousse was a perfect match, much to our delight. A truly successful and gourmet evening.
