We were dining together and were lucky enough to get a seat in the shady garden without a reservation.
Since the owner immediately recognized our lack of French, he also advised us in German and translated the menu and daily specials.

I didn’t eat here, but I had a glass of Alsace white wine in the lovely garden. Peaceful and charming.

Nothing to complain about, the dishes are excellent, the service is perfect, very friendly restaurant. I highly recommend this place if you want traditional food.
Disappointed.. with the gourmet passport we had the impression of being wronged compared to the plates of the table neighbors
The foie gras was limited (green on the sides and a little bitter)
Hugo served hot without ice cubes
And never the same server
In short... for a first it was disappointing
Discreet and efficient service, the dishes were copious and delicious. The Nordic plate served as a starter would have been enough to make a dish on its own, the dishes cooked as required. An address to remember.
