This was a group booking, so we had a room to ourselves, though there didn't seem to be any other customers. The room had a long table, all the other tables having been simply pushed to one side, making it feel as though we were in an overgrown broom cupboard. Plastic tablecloths didn't go with a fairly expensive menu.
The service was leisurely, so much so that it was nearly 1.30 by the time our main course arrived. When I explained that I (only me) needed to leave by 2pm, the waitress said she'd bring the cheese immediately, however, 15 minutes later she'd only started clearing away the main course, so I had to leave without cheese or dessert.
However, the food I did have was good, (not exceptional, but good) so if you've got all day and don't mind down market decor, it might be worth a visit.
Very friendly hostel, a little far away but attentive staff. Fortunately the weather was nice. Sufficient outdoor space, with beautiful pagodas. Just redo the children's corner which seems to be getting old...
