Why would I bother to add to all of these five star reviews to say thank you for the owners for having mercy upon us after 10 o’clock and serving one of the best grilled cheese sandwich sandwiches I’ve ever had. When the owner I think he’s the owner or my server says to you the cheese is Conte 24 you know it’s gonna be a good one. Good wines with a natural emphasis, but quite comfortable telling you this is one that isn’t funky.

I love this place so much! I had my birthday party here back in April and came back this June for a little soirée and both occasions were soo great. Mahi, Lorè, and Siméon are the best ❤️ The food is great, the drinks are great, the place is great, and the service is 20/10 (no exaggeration).

Such a friendly and beautiful atmosphere! Service is super friendly and you can just relax and have fun at this place. Cocktails are very delicious and worth it!

I discovered this bar shortly after it opened in early 2024 and could have sworn I’d already left a review, but the upside is that 2.5 years later, I can say with confidence that it has been completely consistent: great food, excellent drinks, and above all, outstanding friendly service. Simon and Marie are a huge reason we keep coming back! We even celebrated our after-wedding drinks here and they were so lovely accommodating us for the occasion. This is hands down our favorite bar in Paris. Don’t leave without trying their unique cocktails, the Yubka is my personal favorite!

We came for a drink before dinner. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is really friendly and welcoming. They were happy to explain the origins of the beers 🍺 I recommend it

03/06/2026: This is the second time we've had lunch at L'Empire du 8e. It's a friendly place, and the food is always a treat. The prices are reasonable and consistent. A special shout-out to Madame Laetitia, the head waitress, who served us both times. A big thank you—we really appreciated the service. And let's not forget head chef Edouard and his assistant—the food was delicious. We'll be back when they reopen on September 9. Second time we've had lunch at L'Empire du 8e. Friendly atmosphere, and it was a delight. The prices are reasonable and consistent. A big thank you to Madame Laetitia, the head waitress, who served us both times. A huge thank you; we really appreciated the service. And let's not forget Chef Edouard and his assistant; the dishes were delicious. We'll be back as soon as they reopen on September 9.
24/05/2026: A very good restaurant with very friendly and attentive service! The restaurant will be renovated soon. I didn't immediately notice the slightly dated "leopard print" carpet. But we were more impressed by the good food and the very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!
