L'authentique, France sur Calais

The food was good. I ordered a steak sandwich without cheese and my boyfriend a pizza. He said his pizza was really good especially since it was only 10 euros. The staff was friendly and the food arrive quickly.

This is a superb bar near the train station. We have stopped a couple of times to share a bottle of wine and water, we can recommend the Muscadet. Good wine and at a reasonable price. The staff are always friendly and helpful, despite our poor standard French. Food is served until 1400hrs, we were five minutes too late, but the menu is good and the food others had looked tasty. Will be back later this year as its just around the corner from the Hotel Meurice, where we always stay.
