Café Victor opposite the train station: Very good food. We tasted the Diepoise kidneys and the tartare. Then, crème brûlée and Paris-Brest. It was very good 😋 Impeccable and friendly service. A good address.

The quality is there for me who recently got two stars from the dovecote in Offranville and the Voiles d'Or in Dieppe we are not very far from it just a slight remark a little more quantity on the foie gras and everything would be perfect if I dare criticism...which I wouldn't do

We stayed in the Best Western and had dinner here in the hotel restaurant Café Victor on a Saturday evening in May. The restaurant has an old-school French bistro vibe and for a Saturday, it wasn’t super busy, so we managed to get a table without a reservation. We went for the mixed grill and a Cesar salad, both of which were very tasty and cooked well. The mixed grill came as a skewer, which was unexpected as I thought the different pieces of meat (duck, beef, sausage, veal) would be on the plate separately. Nevertheless, the size didn’t disappoint and the grill was accompanied by a sizable portion of deliciously crunchy fries and a great pepper sauce. For dessert, we had crème brûlée and the macron. The crème brûlée tasted light and balanced but wasn’t super special. However, the macron was the star of the show, with the fresh raspberry flavor coming through beautifully. Definitely an amazing desert! The service was rather slow and disorganized but once we had ordered the food arrived quickly, so the kitchen seems well run. Price is ok for what you get. The table next to us had the duck dish and that seemed like a work of art, with extremely elaborate and skillful preparation by the head waiter right at the table.

Extremely friendly staff and super nice setting (especially bar side)

This brasserie restaurant, located just opposite Rouen train station, seems, if we are to believe the numerous frames with dedications, to have hosted numerous political and artistic personalities. As a starter, “homemade” chicken liver terrine with onion chutney. The terrine was, in my opinion, a little bland and dry. As a main course, mixed grill for my son, hearty plate but waste due to nervous meat. For my part, I ordered kidneys, specifying "rare", they were served to me still pink. My son had asked for some mayonnaise, it took a good five minutes before it arrived on the table, even though the restaurant was far from full; consolation: it was home.
