It was my first experience with couscous. When it mixed with the juices of the vegetables and meats served alongside it, I experienced a flavor that truly appealed to me. It was wonderful.

A must-visit restaurant that people have been coming back to for decades. Housed in a historic building, the decor is magical, reminiscent of the Arabian Nights, with stone, wrought iron, and wood, soft lighting, and festive, if somewhat loud, music. A charming mezzanine overlooks the dining room, a great idea if you're a small group celebrating something. The couscous is excellent, and the wood-fired grilled meats are exceptional (oh, the homemade méchoui!). Since the portions are very generous, you can skip the starter or dessert, which are good but nothing special. There's a good wine list at reasonable prices. The hospitality is remarkable, with the waiter and even the chef kindly checking on your satisfaction and beaming with delight at your complete satisfaction.

The welcome is always so pleasant. The food is delicious. This is a must-visit, a place to go back to again and again with friends, colleagues, or anyone you like to delight your taste buds. The portions are generous. They give you time to breathe. In short, a lovely place to get together.

The quail tagine with figs was simply incredible, the place is magnificent and the atmosphere very warm.

We had a great time. We come from Alsace, and every time we visit Paris, we have to stay at the 404. The decor and the friendliness are wonderful; we love coming here.

Very good moroccan restaurant. There is a large variety of north aftrican dishes on the menu and the portions are generous. Overall good value.
