We stumbled upon number 83 quite by chance, and… what a wonderful coincidence! In a warm, intimate, and pleasant atmosphere, we were greeted with a delightful welcome by Jérôme, who pampered us throughout the meal: impeccable food and wine pairings, explanations of the origin and winemaking process of the wines we tasted alongside the dishes, which were brilliantly and expertly prepared by his uncle in the kitchen. From the quality of the ingredients and their presentation in the dishes to the generous portions on the plates, everything was incredibly well orchestrated. We could feel a genuine family passion in the culinary discoveries we made during our meal. Thank you again for your hospitality; we will gladly return to spend another pleasant time with you.

After several meals at this restaurant, I can truly confirm the pleasure I derived from each dish! The artichoke and melon gazpacho was a delightful surprise. The "perfect egg" lives up to its name. Taste, flavors, textures, and pure enjoyment. I love eating at this restaurant and discovering top-notch Italian wines. I'm always delighted by the food and the wine pairings. The best restaurant in Metz at a reasonable price. Don't forget to order a ristretto; it's rare to mention them because they're delicious. 🤤

The welcome was cordial. The temperature in the restaurant was cool during this end-of-year period. We were disappointed by the limited selection of aperitifs. The restaurant seems to focus more on wine. The wait for our food was long, even though the restaurant was far from crowded. The dishes were very good, with excellent quality meat, but the portions were small, lacking in sauces and side dishes, and barely lukewarm. We expected better given the price. The desserts were also excellent. The bill left us with a feeling of disappointment, especially since we were still almost hungry.
