I had the great pleasure of having lunch in this small restaurant which doesn't look like much but where we eat authentic Indian cuisine made with fresh produce. I also had a warm and welcoming welcome. I will come back as soon as possible.

We recently visited Lourdes where we stumbled upon Amma Restaurant. The owners made us feel at home with their hospitality and kindness. The food was just phenomenal! We had the chicken biryani, samosa and masala dosa with coffee. I can safely say that the food was so authentic and delicious like something we would find back home.

I am from the USA, and this was my second time visiting the Lourdes Shrine. My main purpose was, of course, to visit the shrine, but the second was to enjoy the food at Amma's. We had a fantastic experience with their food during our last visit, so I was really looking forward to it again. The owner, Balan, and his wife always welcome their guests with open arms. I was surprised to learn that, due to the high demand, they have opened three more restaurants near the shrine. I tried two of them, and both were excellent. It truly felt like a home away from home experience. After traveling almost 14 hours, going to Amma's and having a meal felt like enjoying home-cooked food with friendly sit-down service. I would highly recommend Amma's restaurant to anyone visiting Lourdes.

My partner and I loved this little Indian restaurant! We felt like we were traveling during our meal! Dishes that I was able to introduce him to because I found the same cuisine that I ate during my trip to India. I took a step back during my trip and it felt great to eat these tasty and spicy dishes properly. A real Chai is difficult to find, one like this, I confirm, we were in India for a moment. Nice cosy place serving delicious Indian food. Service is the best, the proprietor makes us feel at home. Highlights - chicken biryani, dosa, kothu roti. Open late and on Sundays. Had visited Lourdes for a week and we used to come here daily.

We bought chicken Biriyani, prawns Biriyani , Masala Dosa and Samosa . It was good. The owner was very humble and friendly. We really recommend this place .
