We went there for lunch; the food was very down-to-earth and incredibly delicious. The lunch special was a starter and main course for €18. We were able to sit outside on a small covered terrace with shady spots. A cute dog belonging to the owner also roamed around and happily accepted lots of petting.
Came here for a very quick pitstop to get a bite to eat between tours of champagne houses.
We didn’t have long at all (about 30 mins) and we visited outside of the kitchen opening hours but this was no problem at all - the server put together an absolutely delicious cheeseboard and served us very speedily. We only wish we’d been able to stay and enjoy it for longer!
Overall, a very good experience: the food was truly delicious and excellent value for money. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. A minor drawback, however, was the service, which lacked a bit of warmth and friendliness. A shame, as that would have made the experience perfect.
Nice terrace, we arrived at 10 to two and still got our food, which was very friendly. The risotto was tasty and beautifully presented, though it could have used a little more sauce to make it creamier, and a bit more seasoning. The croque monsieur was good, no complaints. The pork was also good and the sauce was excellent. The portions were perfect for a midday lunch. The only comment was the menu; it is easier if there is a paper menu, especially for drinks. Hopefully, you will see this feedback to improve even further!
