Le Balcon sur Capbreton

Passing through Capbreton for a family weekend, we were strolling around Friday evening looking for a restaurant. Nothing was open… until we stumbled upon Le Balcon restaurant, where we were greeted with a big smile. There were two adults and five children in our party, and the owner showed us complete respect, even turning down the TV volume so we could have some peace and quiet. As a huge fan of warm goat cheese salad, I order it at every restaurant, so I can tell you I've tried over a hundred, and yet this one was a true culinary orgasm. I've never eaten such a perfect salad. The ice cream was so delicious you'd be glued to your seat! We will definitely be back, and we are so glad we met this gentleman.

Not staying at the hotel but had lunch on the terrace; great simple cuisine with fresh ingredients, friendly waitress. I recommend it.

Fantastic welcome, smiles all around. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Flank steak with chocolate sauce and whipped cream... Mmm 😋

Passing through on a Sunday in November, the terrace was very pleasant, and the staff and owner were very friendly. Some comments about them lead me to believe that these people lack a sense of humor... The 5A andouillette was magnificent, the axoa was top-notch, and the crisp vegetables were very good (no, they weren't undercooked, get out a little...). In short, a superb meal and more than competitive prices for home-style cooking. Thank you for your time.

Excellent restaurant with very good value for money. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are well presented, with a welcoming and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

€17 for mussels, without cream or spices, and (frozen) fries. You can find much better elsewhere. The Tursan (white wine) was very good, though. The owner is very friendly, which makes up for it.

My favorite little cafe in Capbreton village... Always a friendly and welcoming welcome, a lovely sunny terrace on the square and very good value for money for lunch.
