Le Bar du Nomandy - Normandy Barriere sur Deauville

A hotel steeped in history, the general decoration as well as that of the rooms are in tune with it. People who appreciate the "French elegance" of the end of the 18th century should not be disoriented. The toile de Jouy adorns the walls of the rooms, the decoration is quite dark and heavy (we would say "sustained"), but it is part of time travel! The staff is very current and worthy of the reputation of the establishment! The services and services are impeccable (Valet/Concierge/Maintenance/.. Small question, why did you put sensors under each Can/Bottle in the Refrigerator? Simply tilt one slightly when taking another and this triggers an invoicing which must be corrected during check out. Which is done without the slightest hesitation or verification, and therefore raises the interest of such a system for those who would like to free themselves from it! The only downside comes from the Casino accessible directly from the hotel, the bottle of Champagne that we ordered was in everyone's opinion undrinkable. The bartender was aware of this and unfortunately had no other wine to offer us, so we paid for it and left it on the table.

Concerning the room, rather mixed feeling for 5 stars. Excellent quality bedding but missing hairdryer in the bathroom, outdated furniture with a wardrobe with sliding doors that does not slide (forced to force and manipulate to operate the doors in a squeaking noise) threads of dust coming down from the spotlights and holding on the top of the famous wardrobe. On the other hand, an exceptional and delicious breakfast buffet in a setting that is just as delicious. Concierge, valet and reception staff charming and available.

A default, the elevator which goes to the 4th floor is really not stable.

My comment concerns exclusively the SPA because I did not stay at the hotel. On the other hand, I booked a 55-minute massage at the SPA of this magnificent hotel, the SPA is superb and it was an extraordinary moment of relaxation, I will return there with my eyes closed, and I will ask for Corinne who is an outstanding masseuse . I recommend +++

Mythical !!! A hotel steeped in history. Many films have been made there, many actors have stayed there… And we still feel just as good there. The teams are at the top!!!

Beautiful Property, great beds, wonderful brakfast. A true Deaville classic.
