The food here was good, we had a table to share four plates. The main standouts were the croque monsieur and the green gazpacho. The croque monsieur was on brioche which made it even more decedent than necessary, I loved it. Service was great!

Enjoyed several breakfasts on this busy street. Tables in the sun or shade in the morning. Good atmosphere. Coffee and toast €6. View of the Wallace fountain. Very friendly waiters.

You can eat well-prepared food there; I think you should choose the simplest and most seasonal dishes.

You'd think you'd find the same thing in every café in Paris. Well, no, this is the only one I know like this: everything is good, from the coffee to the main courses, including the bread and the evening tapas. The wine is natural, it depends on your taste, personally I can't drink anything else anymore. The music is demanding, sometimes a bit loud, but that's part of the place's character. Same goes for the service. The waitresses and waiters are the coolest. Sometimes you have to wait. That annoys some people, but it taught me to relax. We're in a Parisian café, there are worse emergencies.

—- Jazz: I think it's a shame they ended the Saturday afternoon jazz sessions, but it's a place I find pleasant, although I think it's worth going there just for a regular afternoon. —- Food and Drink: A pleasant surprise, the non-alcoholic cocktail - which seemed more like a vin chaud without wine - made with ginger, lemon, and cinnamon. My friend's croque monsieur looked wonderful! I'll be back to try it! —- Service: relaxed and uninterested. I asked the waiter for a dessert recommendation, and he said it was better if I looked at the menu. I looked at the menu, and it said "dessert of the day." I finally asked him what the dessert was, and he told me to go see at the counter! But couldn't he just have said that the first time?! I lost my appetite for dessert after that!!
