We enjoyed two meals offered by the organizers of La Calanquaise in mid-October under a bright sun. The staff were very welcoming, and we savored a delicious octopus stew and seafood linguine. We will gladly return.

We've been coming to this restaurant almost every week since we discovered it quite by chance! We can't live without it! A family atmosphere, a lovely setting by the water, the staff are absolutely fantastic, our waiter Nicolas is amazing, always smiling and funny, the owner too, and the chef is truly excellent with superb cuisine: swordfish, mussels and fries with Roquefort cheese served in a beautiful dish, and delicious pizzas!!! We had a wonderful time there this summer, honestly, a 20/20+!!! Highly recommended!!!! You feel right at home here, and it's a real pleasure to come back again and again!!!

We discovered this restaurant this summer and returned with great pleasure. A warm and professional welcome, efficient service, and delicious homemade food, right down to the fries which have that classic, old-fashioned flavor. A special mention to Axel and Nicolas, who haven't lost their energy or their smiles even in the middle of September. I highly recommend it!

I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews and read so many negative experiences about this restaurant. My husband and I came one weekday evening for dinner by the sea. We were looking for a nice little restaurant. A waiter smiled and greeted us as we were simply reading the menu at the entrance. This small gesture made us want to go in. We hadn't made a reservation, and the restaurant was practically empty. The waiter informed us that several dishes were out of stock, including fish, but also ratatouille (a shame, I love ratatouille). That said, we quickly made our choices. For our main courses, my husband ordered the linguine with prawns, mussels, and scallops. I chose grilled sea bass, accompanied by small vegetables and a mound of rice. It was delicious, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. Since I have a sweet tooth, for dessert I chose an American brownie with peanut butter topping... It was really delicious. I rarely order dessert at restaurants, but I certainly don't regret it. The coffee was also very good, unlike some places that only serve hot water as coffee. In short... Our experience left us with a pleasant memory, and we will definitely return if the opportunity arises. The servers and the owner were very friendly. And price-wise, €92 for two aperitifs (Picon, Coke Zero), two main courses (grilled sea bass, linguine), one dessert (brownie), two double espressos, and a good rum is reasonable.
