Oltre le aspettative! Ottimo cous cous, agnello che si scioglie in bocca, merguez tenerissima. Non fatevi ingannare dal locale modesto perché si mangia proprio bene e verrete coccolati dal proprietario!

Beyond expectations! Excellent couscous, lamb that melts in your mouth, very tender merguez. Don't be fooled by the modest place because the food is really good and you will be pampered by the owner!

I love couscous and always try to have some when I travel to this part of the world. I discovered Le Bedouin a few years ago while on a business trip. The couscous was simply superb--the best I have had so far. The semonila was fragrant and the stew was rich in legumes and really flavorful. The various meats (I had the Royal) were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I was so happy that I made a note to return the next time I came to Nice (I live in the USA). Earlier this summer, I had planned to go but unfortunately, the place was temporarily closed (because the chef had to travel). Luckily, I had another trip to Nice a few weeks later and I was happy to see that the place had reopened. Again, the couscous was superb, well worth the return visit. I also got a chance to chat with Sam, the Egyptian-born manager and chef, who is very friendly and has a good sense of humor.
