Excellent food and wonderful hosts! We had a fantastic dinner at Berbere Restaurant this evening. From the moment we walked in, the owners were incredibly welcoming, lovely, and so patient with our truly awful French! Neither of us had a starter, which turned out to be a wise choice because the portions are very generous—so much so that neither of us could quite finish our main courses. I had the couscous with meatballs, and my wife opted for the lamb shank. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We will absolutely return the next time we are in town. Highly recommended!

What can I say... The atmosphere is nice, the service is great, and they even play Nostalgia Radio. 😅 However, the chairs leave something to be desired. They're armchairs, and there's hardly any room to move around, especially since the edges of the chairs are really dirty. For food, I ordered fries and a quarter chicken. The chicken had sauce, but it was still quite dry, even with mayonnaise. The ice cream is delicious. I had two scoops of chocolate, and they were really chocolatey. My mother enjoyed the food, and it was good.

Delicious food. One of the best couscous I've ever had. The vegetarian options were also excellent. Friendly service and reasonably priced.
