We were greeted by the kind smile of a friendly waitress who accommodated our request for a table. The place is beautiful. The food and wine were excellent. The pizza was also excellent. The view overlooking the river was wonderful. We sat under the pergola because it was very windy. I also enjoyed the background music. The waiter who served us was very kind and friendly.

The food was good, the cooking was well-executed, but it lacked boldness; a bit more flavor would have been welcome. The puff pastry on the gravlax was bland, and the salmon was timid in both quantity and taste. The fried fish was too salty, too heavy, and its sauce was rather bland. The tuna of the day was very good, as was its side dish. The service lacked confidence but remained classic and competent. More flair, ladies and gentlemen! Special mention for the rum.

A lovely evening spent at Le Bercail. A very warm welcome in a beautiful and inviting setting. Original cocktails and excellent food. We'll definitely be back.

Well-known to the people of Avignon, it's one of the most pleasant spots for a refreshing break in the summer. The view of the illuminated Palais des Papes is magical in the evening.

04/05/2026: Come hungry because the portions are huge! Delicious.
03/05/2026: The royal couscous was excellent, with melt-in-your-mouth caramelized meat and delicious pastries for dessert. However, the meal was served almost simultaneously with our aperitif, without us even being asked if we could have the main courses. I was also quite surprised that mint tea wasn't offered, having eaten at many couscous restaurants. Nevertheless, I recommend this place.

19/04/2026: We were disappointed by the portion sizes; barely one Lebanese loaf for four people, and then it was charged extra despite us ordering four set menus. The mezze was served all together on one plate with barely a spoonful of each dish. It was far too little. The typical Lebanese generosity was nowhere to be found. The eggplant caviar didn't have the smoky flavor you find in Lebanon, and the labneh wasn't drained enough. In short, despite all this, we had a good time but were still disappointed.
