Le Bistro du Paradou sur Paradou

I love this place and have returned a few times over the years. . It’s not dissimilar to La Colombe d'Or for food. Simple food done well. Shame about the road but it’s not too bad. Great cheese board.

An excellent experience! The pistou soup was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The cheese platter was a real treat, with a very wide selection of high-quality cheeses. The poultry was excellent, tender, and perfectly cooked. In addition to the quality of the food, the service was impeccable: the servers were very friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant; we will definitely be back!

We were disappointed with our experience at Bistrot de Paradou. It's a well-oiled machine, clearly a business with strong ties to American tourism. The result was a very noisy and unpleasant terrace. The single meal was extremely expensive compared to what you can find in the region… Provençal flavors, but lacking delicacy and subtlety. The cheese platter was spectacular, but composed of classic French dishes. We would have loved a more pronounced local flavor. As for the desserts, they were typical of a bistro menu, whether local or from elsewhere, but definitely not local. Two Cokes and a bottle of water for €20. A lunch reminiscent of a roadside diner for €156! Honestly… let's be honest, that's the price of a bistro-style meal, but this was far from it… Perhaps it's better off-season? Very overrated.

Well... it's super posh!!! Tesla, Ferrari, Maserati... in short... golfers... On the other hand... great food... great service... friendliness... it was top-notch...

A true 5/5! Le Bistrot du Paradou is a restaurant with a unique soul. I would say it’s one of the best meals I ever had. Authentic to Paradou and unique on its own. We went on Friday, they served an amazing soup and lamb. Their cheese plate and desserts are incredible too. Staff is happy and you can feel it. They are warm and welcoming. At the end it turns into a party, people dancing and sharing a good time. Can’t wait to be back. There’s no restaurant that can beat a home-kind place.

Our experience was consistently average and therefore, overall, too expensive. While they attempt to justify the price with a four-course meal and promise something special, a closer look reveals several shortcomings. There's only one set menu, and to start, you receive a far too large portion of vegetable soup. There were two of us, and the soup was enough for three or four people. This was followed by a small main course. Then came copious amounts of cheese, and finally, a choice of several simple desserts, including chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, crème caramel, panna cotta, and so on. Every guest receives the same meal. The dishes were all perfectly acceptable in terms of taste—nothing more, nothing less. A bottle of wine is included in the price. It felt somewhat like a tourist trap.

Really very good. I recommend it. An impressive wine list.
