We ordered fish fritters, half a duck breast, a daily special tartine, a burger, and a children's meal. The duck breast was good, the daily special tartine very good, the burger good, the fish fritters quite greasy and large (€9 for 3 pieces), and the children's meal average. Let me explain: perhaps 4 or 5 fritters in the bowl would be more enjoyable to share than 3, as the fritters were very greasy and lacked seasoning. A children's meal at €13 with 2 small nuggets and a small portion of fries is clearly overpriced. Don't tell me that 4 nuggets would reduce the restaurant's profit margin. On the other hand, the waitresses were excellent and offered good advice, the tartine was well-prepared and very tasty. And: when I went to pay the bill, the kitchen was clean, and so were the cooks. The 3-star rating reflects more of an observation about details that are easy to change than a negative point.

A fantastic find! The dishes were excellent, with several homemade touches that truly made a difference. The ingredients are high-quality, the service is pleasant, and the whole experience deserves far more than its current 4-star rating. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

The duck breast, salmon, and ribeye steak were very good. The only downside was the extra charge for the side dish. Service was quite fast. The plates were beautifully presented.

Family meal. Our waitress Sophia was lovely and very professional. She took great care of us, which was much appreciated. We had a set menu with a fresh salad and confit with fries, which was delicious, as was a Caesar salad for our daughter. We never miss a meal here when we're in the area. It deserves 5 stars! 🌟

We were delighted with our visit to this restaurant, both by the warm welcome and the excellent service. The quality and quantity of our à la carte order (main course, side dish, and dessert) were very satisfying. Our choice of seating was very well advised, as our table was nicely shaded, allowing us to enjoy the refreshing air, which was extremely welcome. We will be back!

Honestly, nothing to complain about, we had a fantastic meal. It's a real family restaurant with a simple and friendly atmosphere, just the way we like it. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are more than reasonable. One of those places you want to come back to without hesitation. Every year we spend a week's holiday in Vieux Boucau and eat at least once at the bistro, and this year, to our surprise, the prices are reasonable, except for the vegetables, which cost an extra 5 euros, thus increasing the price of the main course. I find this practice unfair… I think next time I'll go somewhere else
