We had a wonderful evening at this little mountain bistro. The new owner is really friendly and the tapas were a real treat. Everything was top-notch, from the service to the food. I highly recommend it.

I didn't eat there, but they have a Spanish draft beer that's much better than Jupiler. And for those like me who like to treat themselves, there's Chouffe on tap.

Excellent place, for many reasons. In our case, we ordered tapas: Laucate oysters, whitebait, patatas bravas, ceviche, and calamari. As you can see, it's more of a beach bar meal than a mountain bistro. First surprise: The place itself is beautiful and has character, well-located in the very center of Matamale. Second surprise: The service was friendly, attentive, and quite fast. Third surprise: All of this, combined with reasonable prices and less rigid opening hours than some other establishments in France, makes it a highly recommended place to return to. Cheers!

A very pleasant surprise, this little bistro tucked away at the end of the village. The food is simple, well-prepared, and regional; I especially loved the burrata tomato flavored with herbs from the garden (lemon balm?!).

The little pandas are awesome! Ben is passionate about cooking and always ready to share the best with us! Sev keeps us hydrated, and the atmosphere is always a blast! A must-visit in Matemale!

Benjamin gives a warm welcome and immediately puts you at ease. He offers sophisticated, homemade tapas-style dishes. The homemade pulled pork bikini is simply divine. The cheese platter is generous, featuring locally sourced and aged cheeses. The bill is very reasonable. I will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality, and see you soon, Ben.

A warm welcome, a relaxed village atmosphere. Delicious tapas-style meals featuring local products (the "bikini" with Capcir pork) and excellent, very fresh oysters from Leucate. The new owners are off to a great start!
