First meal of the season and it was divine! Snacks for aperitifs and appetizers are very pleasant. Everything is delicately cooked with subtle flavors. We finished with the chocolate delight 😋😋, without comment. Thank you to Chef Lorenzo for treating us and to Pénélope for her pleasant welcome and support throughout the meal. See you soon.

As always, great culinary discoveries. Listening to their customers. A beautiful place that is worth the detour and discovery (if you don't know it yet). Thanks to Pénélope for her service and her smile and to Lorenzo for allowing us to discover different flavors with each bite. We recommend and we will return.

While in search for the perfect sunset spot, I discovered this incredible restaurant, in the most unexpected location !!! I arrived unprepared on this warm day, attire less than stellar, 2 canine companions and without a reservation however, there was sitting available. The lady of the house, Penelope, greeted us with a warm smile and, asked right away if the pups needed water. I felt welcome and the doggies were at ease. The restaurant is intimate, the decor simple and minimalist, as to keep the focus on the dining experience and, the farandole of plates that will eventually ornate the tables, as the dinner progresses. The proposition is a set monthly menu for 50€ per person. I appreciated the opportunity to embark on culinary adventure destination unknown. From the very first bite, I realized that I was in for quite a treat. Amuse-Bouche, appetizer and so on, each prepared with precision, artistry and many delicate touches, there is a passionate soul working in the kitchen, it shows. Each course was as much of a feast to the eyes as it was delectable to my taste buds. What a pleasure to the palet. I enjoyed this unexpected outing immensely and strongly recommend Le Bistrot de Lagarde d'Apt, the pups too, they had a tiny sample but shhh, the Chef doesn't know about it 😉 I didn't see the sunset that day but, I discovered an unforgettable restaurant and also learned, for a bit of history, that Lagarde d'Apt was a station post for wounded American soldiers during WWII. Vraiment une très belle découverte un peu au hasard. Un tres bon accueil malgré nos vélos et tenues de cyclistes. Nous avons passé un très bon moment, le repas était excellent, tout en finesse, parfait pour recharger les batteries sans s'alourdir. Nous reviendrons avec nos epouses .. merci à vous. Juste l'arrivée au portail qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la découverte mais chaque chose en son temps j'imagine..
