Sunday lunchtime. Warm welcome. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Service was quite fast. No set menu on weekends, so it was à la carte. I opted for the foie gras as a starter. A small portion, well-cooked, with the gingerbread slightly burnt. Beautifully presented. A good sweet and savory combination. For my main course, I wasn't familiar with the dish, so I chose the pike-perch fillet. The plate (in terms of shape) was a bit small considering the generous portion. Flavorful and very delicate on the palate. A tad pricey for this dish. I would have appreciated a bit more sauce on the fillet. The dauphinoise potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. I didn't have dessert. Thank you to the Château bistro for their delicious and refined cuisine.

Excellent restaurant with truly amazing decor 😍. Let's start with the welcome. Perfect, attentive, and with a touch of humor—just right. We had a lovely chat at the end of our meal. The owners are really pleasant. The meal was perfect! We opted for burgers and a children's menu. Everything was delicious, with a selection of rather original burgers that were really tempting. Finally, the desserts were simple but perfectly executed; congratulations to the chef who clearly knows his craft. We've tried almost all the restaurants in Saint Fargeau, and without hesitation, this is where we'll return. Thank you again.

Delicious dinner in an authentic and warm setting. For me, a fish dish, original, full of flavors and perfectly seasoned. Perfect advice for wine pairing. Friendly, professional and efficient service despite a busy room.
