We visited on a Saturday evening in peak summer season, so had reserved and were pleased we had done so, as the restaurant was full. A buzzy local atmosphere, aided by a live singer and her piano accompaniment. The seafood platters looked spectacular, but we opted for a variety of starters and mains - razor clams, smoked salmon, sardines, gambas and the lamb. Really enjoyed the range of grilled vegetables, which accompanied the mains, which is a rarity. The Ile flottante was the largest I have ever seen and indeed the waiter’s words upon placing jt in front of my son were ‘Bon Courage!’ The only negatives were that the chairs were not super comfortable and it was pretty noisy given the singer and number of diners, but a very enjoyable evening nevertheless.
