My first experience at this restaurant in Montendre, ideally located for me between the Lot-et-Gaonne and Vendée regions. The daily menu was very good and reasonably priced. The parking and terrace are a plus, and the service was excellent.

Special DJ set night with two local DJs. A variety of electronic music to suit all tastes: House, Tech House, Techno, Hardcore. Great atmosphere with a crowd of all ages.

15/07/2026: We trusted the reviews and honestly, they were fantastic!! Unbeatable value for money. Generous portions, everything homemade, and the owners are down-to-earth, charming, and efficient. A little gem that I highly recommend.
17/06/2026: A very nice little restaurant where I enjoyed the €15 lunch menu, which included a starter, main course, and dessert. The waitress remained very professional despite her injured shoulder. Well done to her, she's very brave.

06/08/2026: Bar Tabac is well located, with a pleasant atmosphere including a terrace, pool table, and more. The staff is friendly and offers a wide range of services, which is very rare in rural areas! The opening hours are ideal, especially if you need to go on a Sunday, for example. Many other establishments should take note. 👏👏
