Still as great as ever after all these years

Ronald Ivauch, renowned food critic and specialist in the kind of meat we love. I spotted this barbecue restaurant online and decided to see for myself what the chef was capable of, because I've boned more than my fair share of steers. So, you arrive and there's a cow's skull on the front door, which immediately sets the tone: this is serious stuff. I thought, "Wow, they're really going for it." You go inside and there's a second skull, ten times bigger. I thought, "They eat mammoths here." All joking aside, I felt very welcome. The atmosphere was warm and friendly (not at all like, "My buddy comes in, puts four 3.8-inch rib steaks in front of you, asks which one you want while sharpening his knives, like, 'If you take the lightest one, you're the one who's going to get it.'"). Despite the sweat I got, we appreciated not wasting time and seeing the meat right in front of us. We ordered a beautiful ribeye steak, cooked to perfection. We also ordered a salad, and unfortunately, the chef was way too hot on his grill and ended up cooking our salads. He didn't understand; maybe he thought it was a ribeye steak. Well, you can eat it as is, but personally, it wasn't my thing. It's a shame there was only a homemade sauce, which was a bit lazy. I would have loved to have it with mustard. Next time, give me Amora, that'll do, cuz. However, the meat was so good that there was hardly any need for sauce. The bone was cooked perfectly too; I devoured it on the floor next to a dog as soon as I left. It's a shame there wasn't any mashed potato; otherwise, it would have been a 5-star experience. So, my fellow meat-eater and I stuffed ourselves silly, and to top it off, we tried the chocolate fondant, which was absolutely phenomenal. It's a shame the plate was at 4000 degrees Celsius, practically the temperature of the sun, but otherwise, it was very clean. I recommend it and I'll be back with my meat-loving friends, but I'll bring my little pot of sauce if you don't mind.

What an exceptional experience! We chose the €58 menu, and every course exceeded our expectations. The appetizers were absolutely remarkable, bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced, and prepared with great care. The meat was simply sublime. It melted in your mouth, was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning was flawless. The side dishes were equally delicious and complemented the main course beautifully. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, professional, and very welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As for drinks, the Bellini was exquisite, and the wine was perfectly chosen to accompany the meal. This is without a doubt one of the best meals we've had in Paris. A truly remarkable restaurant that is well worth a visit. I will return to Paris just to eat at this restaurant! A memorable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

The meat was exceptional and well-cooked, but not grilled. The restaurant is tiny and elegant. Attentive service from a fast and knowledgeable Italian waiter. The price, however, is clearly too high.

Good meat and great service. However New York prices that you would not expect in Paris. Seating place is very narrow. Ambient music was very loud
