I’ve been coming here for over 25 years and this restaurant is still the best AUTHENTIC INDIAN RESTAURANT in Grenoble. I highly recommend.

While in Grenoble, I tried this Indian restaurant. It was very good; my dish was delicious, and I'm used to eating Indian food! The service was excellent, and the ambiance, with its aged wooden tables, perfectly complements the atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant in Grenoble!

Nice atmosphere, lovely restaurant. We had the lamb tikka, which wasn't great. The lemon juice didn't go very well with the lamb.

Never on Tuesdays; you'll find reheated weekend dishes. Reheated doughnuts aren't great; we've had better at this restaurant, which is a shame. The young waitress was sad but efficient and polite, much better than the older woman who was downright intrusive.

We love food at Bombay restaurant . Its the best place for Indian food in Grenoble. Neither too oily nor loaded with too much of cream, still the food is so delicious. Love their kashmiri naan, pairs so well with the all curries. And the packaging they use for the take-away is all eco-friendly, leak proof too. Excellent!!

Still as good as ever, the years go by but Bombay remains a sure thing. A particular favorite is the birani rice.

The prices have gone up way too much; you can't pay that much for a dish anymore, then you have to add the rice and naan, it adds up too quickly!! It's a shame because the dishes are delicious and generous.

I just remembered (after a bad experience this afternoon at another Indian restaurant in Savoie) that you, the Bombay of Grenoble, are, and I say it loud and clear: THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE REGION!!! I can't wait to come back and rediscover those delicious, subtle, and spicy flavors that you master so perfectly. Long live you! 🤤

18/01/2026: A restaurant with friendly staff. Nice decor and plenty of tables. It's certified halal. The service was quick and the prices are comparable to the competition; rice is included with the main course, so expect to pay around €15. Unfortunately, I couldn't find butter chicken on the menu, even though it's my favorite Indian dish, and I felt the garlic cheese naan lacked garlic flavor and cheese filling.
