The vibes in here were very nice, the food and staff were wer so amazing and friendly, they took good care of the guests. It's a perfect combination between food, services and atmosphere. Very suitable for a date or gathering with friends.

The first dish in the first photo was the best, by far. It was something with crispy pig (can’t remember the name), to die for. A close second was the vol-au-vent with shitakee mushrooms, explosion of flavors in your mouth, yum! The dessert was also chef’s kiss. Overall a great experience, good food and nice vibe. Wouldn’t say it’s a must try though, given how hard it was to find a reservation.

Vivant 2 is everything I love about the Paris 'scene' when it’s done right. Dim lights, mountains of melted wax and music that kicks but somehow lets you actually hear the person across from you. It’s cramped, you’re shoulder-to-shoulder at the counter, and honestly? That’s where the romance is. The food is exceptional. The truite, the ris de veau and a vol-au-vent that reminds you why French technique matters. Too many 'young guns' these days throw random ingredients at a plate and call it 'brave'—most of it is a fraud. Not here. This kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing. The wine list is a deep, beautiful rabbit hole, even if the glass of Champagne might sting your wallet a bit. The tragedy, however, was the service. Look, we arrived late and ordered light—I’ve owned restaurants, I know that’s a headache for the margins. But there’s a way to handle that without being a jerk. Being told we 'must order a main, like in a normal restaurant' is a bush-league move. In a 'normal' restaurant, the staff also pours the wine, yet we handled the bottle ourselves all night. It’s a shame when the hospitality doesn’t match the brilliance of the stove. Go for the food—it’s essential—and pray you catch the floor staff on a night when they actually want to be there.

Interesting food, AMAZING energy/ atmosphere and must say, probably some of the best service throughout our 5 day trip to Paris! Gentleman from Norway was especially wonderful! Food unique, really light, smaller portions which makes it easy to try a larger variety of dishes. Trout was phenomenal as was the mushroom Vol-au-vent, bursting with flavours. The greens with bergamot WOW! Scallops with the chickpea crepe unique, light and very enjoyable. Oysters (I believe with walnuts) was quite unique. Beetroot with a bit of citrus was probably our least favourite as it was perhaps too simple compared to the other dishes, nice tasting beetroot however. The kidneys on toast were delicious , but having 3 meat centric dishes which all had an offal as the star of the show was a bit bold. Would be nice to have something except brains, kidneys and sweet breads, although it’s a very personal/ preference type of thing. Brains were tasty but definitely for the more daring. Saying that, it’s an establishment that definitely knows what’s up. Thank you very much for a great & memorable evening!

Amazing hospitality, food and wine! Amazing vibes in the restaurant and waiters who really know what they are doing and enjoy their work! I had one of my best restaurant excperiences here, and felt very much appreciated!!

31/08/2024: Le plaisir commence par la route pour se rendre à Péri. Il continue avec l’ambiance de l’auberge. Et redouble avec les plats qui sont tous aussi délicieux. Attention cependant : ne vous resservez pas trop car les plats arrivent en nombre et vous n’aurez plus faim pour les exceptionnels desserts fait maison ! On ne peut venir en corse dans passer chez Séraphin !
07/07/2024: Detta Auberge är en dröm. Så vackert det ligger i byn Peri strax utanför Ajaccio. Långt innan Michelin guide upptäckte stället föll jag för det. Alla rätter serveras av lokalt producerade produkter. Det normala är att du kommer klockan 20.00 på kvällen och äter en sex rätters måltid med lokalt vin. Vi åt först grönsak soppa, därefter friterade aubergin blommor. sedan hemlagad fylld pasta, därefter lammgryta. sedan lokala ostar för att slutligen äta glass med varma glaserade nötter. Vatten och vin ingår. Detta kostade 75 euro per person. Missa inte detta ställe!
