Lunch on the terrace with friends in May!
It was okay, but there are better restaurants in Chamrousse. The fries weren't homemade, but that was still acceptable. The crozets had been reheated, which wasn't great, but the worst part was the desserts (especially the cream puffs, which were hard...).

We used to come here regularly, but this will be the last time this year. The quality of the food isn't what it used to be: the fondue wasn't great, the Irish coffee had no coffee flavor, the charcuterie was basic, and the service was mediocre... It's a shame because we really loved this place.

A visit for 10 people, including 2 children, at lunchtime without a reservation ☺️ Warm welcome, very friendly staff. We had a great time! Family atmosphere, I 100% recommend it, the prices are very affordable and the service is top-notch! Thank you so much!

We started with a friendly aperitif, then ordered takeout…
And honestly, everything was perfect.
Tender lamb shank, a generous tartiflette (which we even got seconds of 😄),
delicious, hearty dishes prepared with care.
A warm welcome, a smiling team, and impeccable service.
An address to recommend without hesitation and without reservation!
Well done to the whole team 👏

A pleasant time at Le Boucanier. Small, warm, intimate dining room and quality service. The food is generally quite good, although I was slightly disappointed on my last visit, with a beef steak in chanterelle sauce that was a bit tough and under-seasoned.
