Rather disappointed, unfortunately. Perhaps I had too high expectations given the need for a reservation to get a table and the Google reviews. In the end, I found the portions very small for the price (set menu with dessert for €25) and nothing particularly exceptional. The panna cotta was also runny, which I don't think is normal. On the other hand, the place is very nice and the service is excellent, with very pleasant and smiling staff.
EDIT: I find the response rather condescending. I was expecting a delicious meal and a proper panna cotta, that's all. I know perfectly well I wasn't in a Michelin-starred restaurant!

I think the bistro is riding on its reputation (press, word of mouth). Having been there in January and now in May, I was disappointed. The price is high for the quality, considering the simple yet well-presented dishes.
The service is impersonal, with little effort made to be courteous to the customer. The bartender was very nice.

The cooking is clearly skillful, the dishes are delicious, but the portions are a bit small. The main drawback is the price. I know of other places where the ingredients are local and seasonal, just as well prepared, and at much more reasonable prices. It's an experience worth trying once, but I don't think I'll be going back.
Even the wines, at €8 a glass, are still quite expensive.

Excellent restaurant just steps from Place Rihour.
The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service.
The seasonings are just right and accessible to everyone.
Special mention for the asparagus with gribiche sauce appetizer, which was delicious.
The restaurant is very attractive.

Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome and excellent service to the order taking. The owner was attentive to customers' needs and desires. The cuisine was on par with any fine dining restaurant in Lille, and the sharing platters were very well thought out. A very good experience at Brigand!

We loved our dinner; this type of cuisine is very new to us, and we were surprised by the originality and delicacy of the dishes. The service was attentive and offered good advice; the team was young and dynamic. We would really like to come back for lunch as well to try the more 'traditional' menu, which looked very tempting!

- The place has a rather nice decor.
- We would have appreciated it if the restaurant's concept had been explained upon arrival, as we found ourselves with three plates on the table to share, and by the time we'd eaten one, the other two had already gotten cold.
- Once half the tables were full, it became very noisy, which made the end of the meal less enjoyable.
- Very good wines on the wine list, but expensive.
- The dishes were very good and well presented.
