20/05/2026: We went to La Rocha one weekday evening in the pouring Marseille rain. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but we had a wonderful time. The cuisine was high-quality oriental, featuring mezze. A member of the staff prepared the stuffed grape leaves by hand right in front of us. The portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable for a restaurant at the start of the Corniche. The owner was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

05/09/2026: A true gem and an excellent discovery in Rennes! The welcome was outstanding thanks to a super friendly, attentive, and particularly kind waiter. As for the food, everything was perfect. We started with the bolani kachalou, a delicious, well-spiced potato pancake, accompanied by a refined house rose cocktail. For the main course, the kabuli offered incredibly tender meat—meltingly juicy and succulent. The quality is top-notch from beginning to end, and the wait was very reasonable. A must-try!

09/09/2026: I'm often very strict with my ratings, but this place truly deserves 5 stars across the board! First, there's the atmosphere and the service. Whether you're on the rugs or in the chairs, there's a traditional, family-friendly Afghan ambiance. The gentlemen are very helpful and communicative. The food is delicious. Even though I'm not a big fan of lamb, I ate my entire lamb shank. The rice is fantastic. My friends' dishes were also excellent. The dumplings are delicious too, and the cardamom dessert is as surprising as it is tasty. A solid 5/5

The portions are generous, and the sauces (wot) have a unique flavor, perfectly seasoned. Everything is homemade, and you can taste the difference. Be sure to book ahead, as the restaurant is often small and fills up quickly!

04/09/2026: Excellent welcome, friendly service, smiles, and attentive throughout the meal. The homemade couscous was very good and plentiful. The lady offered us delicious lemon and almond paste cakes with our mint tea. The menu had a good selection and reasonable prices. The Estrangin metro station is less than 10 minutes away, and tram line 3 is right next door. A truly great place to remember.

29/08/2026: Invited to a wedding reception. The restaurant was entirely private. The decor was magnificent, and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy our meal on the outdoor terrace. Everything is homemade and seasonal! The welcome and service were pleasant. I will return to try their menu.

22/06/2026: We were staying at the Ibis Style on stopover and found this place which is a 30 minute walk or 10 euro uber and really enjoyed a warm welcome and excellent food. Both had ifferent meals and both were excellent
