The food was quite good, but the stars are mainly for the waiter who was just incredibly pleasant despite the neighborhood's challenges with some unruly characters. We had a wonderful family evening, thanks in part to him. Excellent value for money. Thank you!

We had a wonderful evening at Café de la Gare for my birthday. The meal was very enjoyable, but what truly made the difference was the service. A huge thank you to the waiter who looked after us: he was lovely, attentive, smiling, and remarkably professional. He really helped make the occasion even more special, especially with the little birthday treat and the "Happy Birthday" music, which touched me deeply. Excellent service can transform a simple dinner into an unforgettable memory, and that's exactly what happened tonight. Thank you so much to him.
